Default Howdy from Austin

Found this site a few weeks ago and have been reading as much as I can ever since. My wife and I took a micro brewery tour last week and we are really interested in brewing.

Thanks everyone.

If you come across some good deals on used home brew equipment around the area, let me know, I need it all.

Just go visit the fine folks at Austin Home Brew. They hooked me up back in March and are really great to deal with. I got the deluxe brew kit and will upgrade as I go along. Might even try All Grain some day.

Welcome aboard.

Since it's coming up I'll put in a plug for the Zealots picnic at Emma Long park on Saturday! Details at Austin Zealots | "Beers A to Z", if you wanna meet a lot of , err, homebrewers, that is a good way to meet 'em, no worries if you don't have anything to bring there is PLENTY of beer.

We ran by over the weekend. Cool place. I'll definitely get my first batch going after summer school. Wife has approved a kegerator for the house. Just need some beer for it
