I've always wanted to homebrew but was always intimidated. Finally my cousin talked me into doing an extract with specialty grains. I didn't want anything too complex for my first beer so we did an English Pale Ale.
It came out pretty great (I'm biased).
Anyway. I just ordered a 44 quart stainless steel kettle, a 50' copper wort chiller and a nice brew bag.
Will be doing my first all grain BIAB later this month. I'm pretty excited
