Default Hello from Korea

Hello everyone... just thought I would say hello and introduce myself. My names Tyson and I'm a Teacher here in South Korea... and I'm about to get ready to brew my first batch of beer.

I remember when I was a kid spending time with my Father helping him brew beer and wine... and I guess those good memories are fueling the fire to get into this interesting hobby. That... and Korean beer is not really to my preference.

Anyways... I'll be posting and reading along as time goes.

Thanks,

T

Welcome.
Are you from Korea or have you moved there?

I'm from Canada... and moved to Korea in early 2005. I've been having a great time down here...

I certainly don't have access to all the things that you guys might have... but theres a few websites in Korea that offer supplies. You can check them out... just keep clicking links to see what they got.

Looks like you can get everything you need.

What are the prices like? How much is 30,000 worth?

Looks like he is in Taegu.

Welcome aboard, t-bone!

I spent 2 years in Korea, loved it. Would go back in a minute--but certainly not for the beer! OB, C-ASS, (S)hite, no thanks!

Yuri brewed a porter while he was there not too long ago. We should resurrect the thread, that was awesome following that.

Good to have ya!

Welcome.

I think I'll be in Taegu at the end of November...actually, they don't know where they're sending me yet, but I'll be there for 2 weeks.

Need any supplies?
