Getting started in Central Jersey

Native Jersey kid here, lived out in SF for 8 years and learned what good beer was. I was just recently visiting friends in SF when 2 good buddies and I went up to SF Brewcraft and picked up a half glass kit and brewed our first pale ale. I wasn't able to stick around even past the 1st fermentation. So, of course, I was hooked and had a new hobby. My half glass kit arrives Thursday and I'll be brewing my first batch this weekend! Woo HOOO!!!
