Default Places to Drink in Reno?

I have already asked about this in chat but I thought I'd throw it out for the wider forum.... I'll be in Reno NV next week and need to know where to go to get a brew. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Silver Peak is good, and they have a damn good Lamb burger to boot. Brew Brothers is a chain, the beers are good, there is on in the Silver Legacy casino, they had live music and the bartender knew his stuff, beers were good...I had the Black Beer over and over.

I like Great Basin Brewing in Sparks, NV. It's just a short cab ride from downtown Reno. I didn't think Brews Brothers was very good at all. In fact I left the whole pint on the bar and walked out.

I just wanted to follow up on this for anyone who may run a search some time in the future.

I went to both Silver Peak and Great Basin and both were pretty good all things considered (I have been to many a bad brewpub). The beer was definitely better at Great Basin but I liked the food and atmosphere better at Silver Peak. Both are worth checking out IMO.
