I'll second getting to a Gritty McDuff's location... I went to the location in Freeport last summer (July, was for the post user group event)... Solid brews, and they brew on location. That was before I started home brewing, but was also a decent sized portion of what got me into it. About 4 months later, I was starting my first batch...
