Default My local brew pub is now rated #9 by RateBeer.com

The only reason I don't want to move next year.

In fact, there are a lot of PA brewpubs on that list... Otto's would probably be my favorite.

Never hit Selins Grove pub yet, but planning on doing so soon. Where exactly in Selinsgrove is it?

Oh and speaking of ottos and state college.

I forgot to mention; mark your calendar for July 28 if you will be around. State college is having a brewfest. $35 I believe for a session, includes buffet dinner, etc.

I plan on going out with the little lady and staying overnight. Y'all should come also. I'm staying at the Hilton Garden Inn...

Nice to see that my whole State missed the chart.

Two that I frequent quite often are in the top 50. Big Time #32 and Elysian #43

Any good brewpubs around Hershey? Friend of the wife lives there, would be good to know.

Coming from the strip: cross the little green bridge and just keep on going through two more lights. When you start to enter the actual downtown area, it's on your left, in the basement of the Governor Snyder mansion. You have to walk down some steps outside the building to get there. If you hit the light that's in the center of town (the one right next to BJ's), you've gone a block or so too far.

Incidentally, I've never been to Otto's. I'll have to check that out sometime.

EDIT: P.S. - They have a website that might help. Its design is pretty sad, but you can see what's on tap.

If they don't mind a small trip to Carlisle, there's a place called Market Cross Pub that's great. They only make a few of their own beers, but they have a really great selection of stuff on tap and in bottles. Their fish and chips meal is the best I've had anywhere this side of the Atlantic.

Lancaster Brewing Co/Walnut St. Grill is decent. They're located on the corner of Walnut and Plum in downtown Lancaster. They also make some of the best chicken wings I've ever had...Creepin Dog Hot. They're hot enough to be painful; but the flavor is so irresitable, you can't stop eating them. One word of caution though...if you eat too many, your mouth goes numb and you can't taste the beer anymore.
