Default Had a great dinner at my local last night

Collins Pub in Seattle hosted a Hair of the Dog Brewer's Dinner last night. It was outstanding. I donated some magnums of vintage Adam and Doggy Claws in return for 4 seats at the table.

Here is the menu:
6 couses, a beer matched with each course.

Sauteed Black Trumpeter Mushrooms, Candied Fennel, Meyer Lemon and Dandelion Greens. Paired with Blue Dot IPA

Pan Seared Black Cod Loin, Butternut Squash Bisque. Paired with Greg

Boudin Noir, Braeburn Apple and Grains of Paradise Compote. Paired with Fred

5 Spice Roasted Duck, Braised Lentils and Roasted Vegetables. Paired with Rose Cassis

Trabant Coffee and Chocolate Buffalo Brisket, Sauteed Escarole and Smashed Fingerling Potatoes. Paired with Adam

Blood Orange Jelly & Goat Cheese Panna Cotta. Paired with Doggy Claws

We also did tastings of 1999 Adam. 2001 Doggy Claws and 2007 Fred from the Wood.
