Fifth City Brewery - Chicago

A good friend of mine from high school (with whom I've lost touch) supposedly went to Seibel and founded the "Fifth City Brewery." They had a website for a while, but it's no longer up.

Any of you Chi-town folks know anything about it?

I lived in Chi until last Sept (and will hopefully be back next year).

I actively seek out new beers/breweries/beer bars/brewpubs.

I never heard of it.

That's why I wanted to ask you guys. I'm guessing it didn't work out for him - yet another in the long list of microbrewery tragedies.

I thought it was operating for at least a limited time. Apparently it was very brief if at all. I'll see if I can get back in touch with him and find out what happened (or where he's working now).
