Walked over to the recently opened BJ's brewhouse in Newark, CA today.
Great Experience.
Excellent Bartender. Melissa. Usually works evenings BTW.
Lunch ( 1/2 blackened chicken sandwich with Minestrone soup ) was great.
and the beer...
PM Porter - served on Nitro. Creamy Smooth and tasted like Peet's Coffee. Not a bad thing at all.
Harvest Hefewizen - Tasted like a banana split-- cloudy and yummy.
BJ's Grand Cru - Perfect. Just like I remember from the Jantzen Beach (Portland) location.
talked to the MOD about openings... might be time to switch jobs
