Default Beer Menus

Of two of my favorite locals. I wish there were more bars around here willing to be brave enough to carry the stuff that these two do.

Happy Gnome

Muddy Pig

Just though I'd share.

I wish my local "good beer" bars would give descriptions like that for every beer on the menu.

Here's where I hang out,

Draught

Bottles

And the owner has a nice secret stash in the basement that he dips into for "private tastings"

I was down at Cooter Brown's Tavern in New Orleans a few weeks ago and they boast over 400 brands of domestic and imported bottled beers, as well as 45 different beers on tap.

I hate you all.

I'm lucky to find Burning River or Boston Lager on tap any place around here.

Chicago represent... a few of my favorite spots:

Map Room

Hop Leaf

Kuma's Corner

Love the disclaimers on Kuma's beer menu as well...

"Death to Miller and Budweiser…they are over-produced and inferior products that prevent passionate craftsmen from sharing their gifts with all of us. "

BOTTLES

$2.50

PBR
(if you drink it, we’re not responsible for you waking up in a NASCAR shirt)
