Default Barley John's - New Brighton, MN

Have any of you other Minnesotans been here?

First time there last night. Wife and I had dinner and their beer sampler. The sampler was $5.95 and included 4 5oz glasses of brew. Very good beer and food. We picked up a growler of their Nut Brown Ale.

Small place inside, patio space is larger than indoor seating. Along the patio they have their hop farm. The south wall they have East Kent planted, 4 years old and already about 5' tall. The west side of the pation they have Cascade planted, again 4 years old and already about 5' tall.

Overall great place with pretty decent prices.

Here's a link to thier website:

I've heard good things about that place. It's a little out of the way for me but next time I'm on that side of town I would like to check it out.
