Default Hop Strainer

Hey all,

I had a quick question on other using a hop spider or some sort of hop straining device when boiling.

I saw a stainless filter recently that had a 400 micron size SS filter and was 4" dia by 10" length. I am curious if this would work or if anyone could suggest some different ideas?

Kyle

I just use a 5 gallon paint strainer bag clipped to the rim of the kettle. Open it and add each hop addition at it's time. No need for expensive equipment.

No problems with that! How often do you use a different strainer?
