I think 60 RPM is awesome for this application. I am hoping the ice cream motor I want to use is close to that.

You guys thin 60 rpm is a good speed? I'm thinking more around 20.

I hope for close to 60 so I can rheostat it if less is needed. I do think if you had nothing but the shaft showing you can get by without the threat of HSA.
