Little Giant pump choice

After much reading on the forum I decided to go with little giant pumps. Was about to puller the trigger on the 3-md-hc, when i learning about the 3-md-mt-hc. 1/25 vs/ 1/12 hp.

Seems most of the threads with March complaints is about the priming...not the flow rates. I see the LG 1/25 has a different head style that may prime easier. It is also about $60 less.

Is the 1/12 overkill? should I spend the $120 (60 x 2 pumps) on other equip? one of each--1/25 hot side/ 1/12 cooling side?

i have the 3-md-hc and love it!!! you can always turn it down but you can't add power. My .02

Where are you getting those prices? Are you looking at pump heads only?

ebay,, go for the 1/12hp for a whirlpool pump my 1/25 just does not do the job

i paid $132 with shipping for two 3-md-hc pumps
