Default Some advice for a newbie

Hello everyone,
Beer lover here and trying to move on to the next step of my beer love and start brewing my own. I'll have a host of questions on that in the future but today I am interested in building my own kegerator. My ideal would be to have something small, looking to stay under 28inches wide but be able to hold 2 corny kegs. I also want to wrap it in wood and have a 2 tap tower on top. Anyone have a similiar build? What will I need? Obviously tower with taps, lines, co2 tank....temp controller? I see on most freezers the temp is adjustable but evn on the warmest setting does it still freeze? Suggestions on where to purchase these items at good value? Any advice would be helpful. I'm pretty handy so I should be able to handle this. My goal is to have a tap dispensing unit that incorporates into the existing furniture.

Utilize the search function up top and just type in keezer build. You will find countless threads and information on how to build exactly what you want.

I think I found one for you that might be just what you are wanting to do. http://brulosophy.com/2014/03/25/a-simple-keezer-build/ It looks like he has built a 2 tap keezer just like you describe. It looks pretty narrow but I don't know if it is more or less than 28".

the size looks right, I was thinking more along the lines of a 2 tap tower on top though.....came across some like that but none wrapped in wood. I want it to look like a piece of furniture....that dispenses liquid gold!

It sounds like you basically want a smaller version of Jester's keezer. This thread goes through the "HowTo's" I linked you to the page with the picture of the finished product.http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/keez...1/index13.html

Use the info from jester's beautiful build but use a mini-fridge. You'll need to find one that can hold the cornies. Again, search the forum, you'll find a build to duplicate. Or you can a very small chest freezer and duplicate Jester's on a smaller scale.
