I looked back at the article and he goes on to say: "From my own experiments, I found that with 3 lbs. (1.3 kg) of dry ice (wrapped in newspaper to protect from freezing the keg) I could keep the temperature stable for hours on end, both inside and outside the keg, with no water or mess."

Nice. But on mine with 5 kegs, that could be a lot of dry ice....15 lbs.... I do like the idea of no water/mess.

No. Just want it to be move-able after I assemble but before I load it. That way I can assemble it near the car, leave the battery drill in the car, and roll it to its serving location and load it there. It is however very sturdy and could likely handle moving full. I plan on transfering keg to keg before the move to avoid as much sediment as possible in the final keg...

Installed the shanks/faucets, waiting on tubing and connectors. Looking better though.

Had a snafu, somehow the English ale yeast starter I had made didn't take off, so my pale ale was just sitting this morning. So I pitched some San Diego super yeast I'd grown from another starter....came home from a 12 hr day, no fermentation....crap. only other yeast I had was an Oktoberfest yeast starter I was making for the club meeting Saturday....so I pitched it! Guess I gotta go buy more yeast for Saturday....
