Greetings from Singapore!
Picked up lots of valuable tips from this site giving me the confidence of starting this hobby in hot and sweaty South East Asia, so I'd thought of sharing some of the research i've done.
Converted a Hoover side-by-side fridge (Mom was ready to throw it out, had a dead thermostat) into a 2-in-1 fermenter/kegerator. Found that keeping my kegerator side about 3degC (37degF), the fermenter side will end up being about 20degC (68degF), which is just dead on for ales. Have to figure out a way for me to do cold crashing/lagering though. Here are some pics.
