Recipes 

I'm looking for a decent kit to start winemaking. I brew beer, so I've got a lot of equipment to get going. I'd like to start with a kit, but have no clue about which are worth the money and which will just make good vinegar. My favorite style is Zinfandel (red, not white). Any recommendations?

I've had very good results with the Winexpert Selection line (typically Estate or Limited Edition). I've got their Old Vines Zinfandel in progress right now and have all of the upcoming limited editions on order.

I've made a lot of kit wines and, for what you describe, I feel the 12L Cellar Craft kits provide the best value in a kit. I've made almost all of their 12L offerings and you really can't go wrong with them. The 12L kits are not lower tier kits and come with grape packs that provide fuller body yet they don't have near the cost of the big 16L kits.
