What would it do if I just mixed water yeast an Suger ? Just nasty or what

If the sugar is brown you will get a molasses flavor when it is all said and done. if the sugar is white you will just get a good base for mixed drinks. You could even prime and bottle in champaign bottles then substitute in any drink that calls for club soda.
