An acquaintance of mine had everybody convinced that what he had was a strawberry brandy. It's good and everybody likes it but now that I have his recipe I know its not brandy as he has no distillation step. 3 gallons of water, 10 lbs sugar, packet of yeast, and a few quarts of fruit. Add 4 lbs raisins after a week, transfer the strained juice to a carboy after a month and let it set for a few months. Is this just a wine? Ive made about 5 batches and it came out good, everybody loves it. Just curious what I have. Thanks!!
