My wife wants me to make this for our nieces wedding. Has anyone tried it yet? Just curious if it tastes anything like a real mohito.

I have never heard of the kit but I make mojitos all the time for parties. I just go pick a bunch of mint. then i blend it up with some sugar and lime juice in the blender. After i blend it i strain the liquid with a new hop bag so it dont clog the keg fittings. Finally i add that bag/liquid, 1.25 liters of rum/5gallon keg, and some cold tap water to my keg, carbonate it up by shaking the keg under 25# of pressure and serve it at about 3 volumes of co2. Wife loves it.

Well, it's fermenting now. I guess I'll try it before bottling, maybe I can add something then.

I just bottled mine and had a taste. It actually tasted pretty good, not 100% like a mojito but pretty close.

Not sure, my wife isn't really into mojitos but said it tastes good and its a good poolside drink
