Default Strawberry wine question

I have looked at several recipes for a one gallon batch, including Jack Kellers... all say to add the yeast but do not say how. Should i sprinkle the yeast in the primary or activate it in a small bowl?

Either is fine. Really depends on how much yeast and your gravity.

If you do hydrate in a bowl, just use water or water + goferm for the first 15 minutes.

You can't go wrong following the instructions on the yeast packet.
