Default Star San for wine equipment?

I'm about to make my first batch of wine. I always use star san for sanitizing beer equipment - but is there any reason I shouldn't use Star San to sanitize wine equipment?

I think I read somewhere the residual star san left if not rinsed could ruin the wine (it's too strong perhaps?). I guess that begs the question - can I use star san and then just rinse???

I'm asking because I have lots of star san on hand and it would save me a trip to the LHBS for an alternative sanitizer if I can use it for this batch of wine.
