Default Skeeter Pee and Jello?

Has anyone else seen this?

I wouldn't add any gelatin of any form until fermentation is complete. The poor little yeasties will be stuck to the bottom and won't be able to ferment the sugars.

I don't think a packet of jello would do much to 5 gallons of beer

Maybe not, but its a hard ferment for the yeast so I wouldn't do it until the end of the fermentation.

I think he used it after fermentation, to flavor and clear the beer in one step.
