What is the mix ratio of Sodium Metabisulfite? I am sanitizing some bottles for a Reisling I made for wife. Thanks

I can't remember exactly! I think it's a pretty high ratio for sanitizing- like 2 ounces per gallon of water. Or 1 tsp per quart of water. For simply adding to wine as an antioxidant, of course it's much less.

quated from someone else's answer on another forum:
"There are any number of different formulas. I use 1/2 tsp. sodium metabisulphite + 1/2 tsp. citric acid per 250 ml. "cup" of water. Another common formula is 2 oz. sodium metabisulphite per gallon of water. The exact amount isn't important in a sanitizer (however, it is when adding sulfite to the must)."

Can't verify it as I don't use that as a sanitzer, but there's one opinion.
