Well I bought this old wine press and I started to clean it up. It had a thick sticky sludge all over the cast base. I started scrubbing it up and found that this sludge has caused the paint on the castings to flake off. I don't want it to get in the juice, and I don't want it to rust up either. What is a safe paint to use on this thing that wont cause an issue with the juice? Thanks !!
