Default Paint for wine press??

Well I bought this old wine press and I started to clean it up. It had a thick sticky sludge all over the cast base. I started scrubbing it up and found that this sludge has caused the paint on the castings to flake off. I don't want it to get in the juice, and I don't want it to rust up either. What is a safe paint to use on this thing that wont cause an issue with the juice? Thanks !!

Default Powder coat?

Any thoughts on having it powder coated?

I'll second powder coating. It's probably cheaper than you think.

A marine epoxy paint. I would look for something that is suited for salt water.

try here
