I read that this might be a preservative. It does say that it's been pasteurized.
On the ingredients it does say "May contain sulfites."
This juice is real cheap 50% off right now. You think I should buy some and try it out?
I have a bit of a problem with companies that don't know what is in their products. But, sulfites tend to lose their ability to kill and you could probably ferment it successfully.
Remember one unassailable statistic, as explained by the late, great George Carlin: "Just think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize half of them are even stupider!"
"I would like to die on Mars, just not on impact." Elon Musk
maybe I can ferment a half gallon and if it works, add the rest and away we go.
Right- that should be ok. Sorbate, though, if it's listed will not disapate and will not allow the juice to ferment. Sulfite is probably all right.
