Hi, I'm new to brewing and I was wondering, how much sugar in ever gallon can ec1118 handle. I broke my hydrometer that I just bought and wont be able to get back to the LBS for another week. I know this yeast can handle 18% so I just kind of need to know a rough estimation of how many cups/pounds I should put into each gallon. I know I will have to change it a little depending on the sugar already in the juice I'm about to go get from the grocery store.
