trying to make sure i do thos right so i dont f up my 1st batch of wine by backsweetning to much. 2lbs of sugar added to 5gal of .990 wine = 1.008? 9 points per pound for 5g correct?
well weather i had the right math or not the wine ended up at 1.010 after adding 2lbs of sugar. bottled it last night had a large bash so i kept 3 out for the occasion. .5 is left so the 1st batch was a success.
