Default Large headspace in second fermentation?

I ordered 6 gallon carboy. However I only have about 3 gallon of wine in it now, during second fermentation I racked it today.
Will this large headspace be a problem?

If you leave it too long your wine will oxidize.

Go get thee gallon jugs of Carl Rossi wine and you'll have three one gallon carboys!!
