Default Island Mist Blackberrry Merlot

How long will these last if the ABV is 6.65?
I am at bottling (actually forgot about it) as it was started 9/01/12.
I am wondering about fortifying it with maybe blackberry brandy?

Any suggestions?

Opps should have said Black Raspberry

Not sure what you are asking. It will last as long as it takes you to drink it.

Where are you getting the ABV number from? Every "mist" kit I have made comes out closer to 10 - 11%. (SG 1.08 FG 1.00 - 10.7%)

You can't count the quart of F-pack in your FG number.

I contacted Winexpert and they told me the % abv on this kit ends up around 6%
So HOW are you getting a higher abv??

My mistake, all of my "mist" kits finished between 6.5 and 7.0 ABV.

Thats why we keep notes...age and wine cloud memory cells!
