Ingredients for fruit wine.

Ok. So I have the equipment necessary. But what Ingredients, besides the fruit and sugar, do I need to make and bottle a fruit wine. Lets say if I wanted to make a white grape peach wine, what chemicals and additives do I need to make it successful.

That's enough...but ideally

-camden to protect from oxidation
-pectic enzyme to help avoid pectic haze
-ph test kit to check acidity
-acid blend and carbonate to adjust ph
-finnings are nice if you want to speed up clearing, I like sparkolloid and bentonite.
-yeast nutrient and energizer doesn't hurt for low nutrient wines
-sorbate if you want to back sweeten

Awesome! Thanks!

The sorbate, that is used to yield the yeast so it doesn't eat away ate any sugars added after fermentation to sweeten right?

Yup, but it does not halt fermentation as some believe. It only prevents yeast from reproducing.

So for a first batch of fruit wine, If I was doing a 1 gallon batch.

1 gallon of white peach grape juice 100%
32 oz. canned peaches in own syrup
+ the additives and chemicals previously stated.
I'm sure I could get some measurements in another forum post.

Maybe some oak chips for additional flavor?

End up being about 25$ for 1 gallon batch with some leftover chemicals. Sound about right?

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you want a "peachy" wine, you may need more help. What you will likely get is a nice white wine with some peach aroma.
