Default How much fruit puree for one gallon?

Hi, all.

So, I was looking to get a couple small batches of raspberry and blackberry wine going from the cans of puree comme ca.

But 49 oz of puree sounds like a ton for a single gallon of wine. Or is it? Let me know before I get my purchase on!

The 49oz can of puree is for one gallon, that is a tad over three pounds of fruit; while the fruit wine base makes a larger volume.
