Default How long to make white wine with welches?

I'm a beer brewer but I'm intrigued by wine-making. I was wondering how long it would take to make a white wine out of welches grape juice? Thanks!

I made a gallon out of the Concord grapes and I was drinking it in 3 months, but got better with another 3 in the bottle. I am starting a batch of white next weekend, or as soon as last night's batch of strawberry gets done fermenting.

You could do it in 30 days or so- but it would be better after 6 months. It would be drinkable (but not very good) in a month or so.

The higher the alcohol content, the longer it SHOULD sit to mellow and allow the flavors to blend.

If you shoot for something in the 1.050 - 1.060 OG range you should get to around 7% - 9% which would have a much quicker juice to glass than if you shot for 1.080 or higher. Then stabilize, backsweeten to 1.005 and enjoy.

Sort of like one of those Island Mist kits.
