Default First time wine. Problems

I crushed my strawberries last night, added sugar, added campten tabs, and citric acid. Then I added the yeast about 10 minutes later. It never started fermenting, so I added more yeast today and one campten tab (but I didn't crush it). What I wasn't aware of, is that campten tabs kill the yeast. I'm going to give it another 12 - 18 hours or so to see if it will ferment. IF it doesn't ferment can I add more yeast? Will it hurt it to sit there without fermenting? help me out, Thanks

you want to add campden 24 hours prior to pitching your yeast... I'd say, let it sit for 24 hours, give it a good stiring/shaking, then try pitching your yeast...
