Default Covered wine racks

There was a digression in another thread about covering wine racks. Rather than hijack the original thread I thought I'd begin a new one. Does anyone else cover their wine racks? I have a windowless room in the basement where I keep most of my wines but I had to add a couple of racks for the overflow. The basement is lit by fluorescent lights and, although it would seem beer is far more affected by photochemical changes than wine, I really don't want to take chances on long term wine storage. How about you? These photos are of one rack filled with mead.
