Bottling Question...
Ok so I got distracted and never got around to bottling several wines that I started over two years ago.
They went through the primary and I've racked them several times but they've been sitting under airlock in one-gallon jugs ever since. Not sure if it matters but I have: 1 Dandelion 1 Peach and two Strawberries. How can I know if they've gone bad/gotten contaminated? Will they taste foul? Thanks for your help!!! |

The only way you'll know if your wine is oxidized is to smell and taste it. It may have picked up a brown color as well if that's the case. |
Yes, when I racked them I added a tablet. But I haven't added any for a long time.
They color looks great- no brownish tint/color. What would oxidized wine smell and taste like? I'm pretty much a newbie. |
Taste it, if it's good drink it...if it isn't hold your nose and drink it.
