Doing my first wine batch and started it in a 6.5 gallon carboy. Do I need to rack into secondary in 4 days like the instructions say? So far it looks good just want see if there are any tips. I used a Piesporter Style (Vintner's Reserve) kit.

I don't rack until it quits bubbling, roughly 30 days.
For wine, I rack when the SG gets to 1.010-1.020. That means fermentation is still occuring, helping to protect the wine during racking. Usually it's about 5 days or so, but not always.
Ok thanks for the tip I will let is stay in Primary for a little longer.
