So it's my first attempt at rice wine. But I got busy, and it's been sitting in a cabinet in the basement for about 9 weeks.
I'm not sure if it's still good.
What do I need to look for? Am I going to poison myself?
I've strained it, and it's very cloudy
And bottled....hopefully not poison.
You'll live, looks a little dark from being oxidized, but otherwise fine. It's probably REALLY dry and strong though. Any vinegar smells?
Didn't notice any vinegar smell
If you let it sit it'll separate again but most like it cloudy best. The ABV is probably high enough to not worry too much. I would taste it.
