I'm not interested in electric brewing at this time. I have really come to enjoy brewing with friends. With my propane setup, as long as I have gas and water, I can brew no matter the location.

with HERMS the only time I put fire to the tun is during ramp ups in step mashing just to reduce lag time. Otherwise, never. RIMS is a different creature.

And yeah, it sounds like that controller is doing PWM, which is great for electric, but you can't use it for gas.
