Default In London w/ my a$$hole brother-in-law - pub suggestions please.

I will be traveling through London with my brother-in-law, who is a bit of an ass. After 16 1/2 hours of being cooped up with him in airports and flying tin cans, I am going to need a good pint, or twelve. We will be taking the train to Cambridge. But we have a couple hours to kill in London. Does anyone have any suggestions of pubs near either Paddington or King's Cross Stations? Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Mad Bishop and Bear, Cleveland Arms and The Mitre are all within a few yards of Paddington.
And you have the Euston Flyer, King Charles 1st and the Skinners Arms near King's Cross/St Pancras.
