Default recycling centers for used glass?

I "know" that in Denton, Texas that the voluntary drop off system for most of the city was a series of large dumpsters labeled for different recyclable items. Obviously there is one for glass, where many of the bars deposit their bottles, and the locals donate a variety of home glass items, great as second hands...

Question being, does anyone know of anything like this in the dallas area.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but seeing as it never got answered...

Dallas has a BUNCH of recycling locations mostly at schools, libraries, and churches. the website says they take 'bottles and jars of any color'. (It doesn't specifically mention glass, but it can probably be inferred.)

If you get to one and it says no glass and you happen to live around north Dallas, I know Farmers Branch has one near Oran Good park on Valley View that takes glass.
