That's Uwe. Just in case anyone is interested in a Sonora Brewhouse Brewer’s Den Update:
Uwe said that he should be brewing roughly the 2nd week of January and the tentative date for the grand opening of Brewer’s Den will be approximately 3 weeks after. An email or flyer will be sent out to the club once we have a firm date.

You must be on the other side of South Mountain to be that far from Camelback Road?

We don't have crap for pubs around here. If we want a brew pub or an ale house, we drive to Richmond which is an hour away.

I'm REALLY looking forward to moving soon.

I would have to say that Four Peaks Brewery is by far my favorite. All their beers are excellent as well as the atmosphere.

I don't have a Pub close by but what I do like to do is go to the Salt Lick BBQ (about 15 miles southwest of Austin) and sit outside on the picnic tables. It's BYOB ..so I do. I guess you could say I bring my own Pub with me. On the weekends they have live music. It's been awhile since I've been out there mainly because my wife doesn't drink and got tired of it.

I'm lucky enough to frequent a cigar shop that bends the rules a bit to allow some of their constituents to BYOB. Big leather chairs, fabulous cigars, excellent homebrew, and a game on a big screen plasma or just good conversation.

It is a nice place but unfortunately too far for me to frequent.
