Proposed change in KS microbrewery law

HB 2759 proposes to eliminate the residency requirement for the issuance of a microbrewery license. Seems like a pretty targeted change. I would assume someone from out of state is pushing this so they can open a brewery.

I could see how that could be a problem especially around the kansas City area where you have residents of KCK and KCMO interacting and crossing "state lines" pretty easily.
