Denver area Get Together?
|
|
The are a few of us Coloradans here and I'd like to suggest we get together for a gathering of HBTrs.
Folks from other regions have them all the time and I'm tired of being left out of all the fun! It seems like every time I turn around there is a gathering somewhere.
So what do you say Colorado? How about we get together for our own event. Let's make the rest of the country envious that we can have so much fun! Maybe we could go to the Falling Rock and kind of a LoDo pub crawl? I'm not the best organizer in the world but I'd love to get something going if there is enough interest.
Thoughts? Ideas?

I could be persuaded...
A brew-together might be fun, too, especially since warmer temps are on the way one of these days. How about 'Stone Beer'? Get some people to volunteer to bring various ingredients, then combine to make a tasty brew.

Yep, I'm in, as long as there is ample access to public transportation to/from Bo-town! Maybe we can wait until ski season slows down though, that sort of eats my weekends.

Why don't we plan something for May time frame? Maybe we could do a brew together like jds said and do a pub crawl. Maybe on 2 different days? I like the idea of a Stone brew. We could all chip in on the base malt/ extract and then everyone bring what they want for hops and specialty grains.
What do you think guys?

That would be cool, but would mean we'd have to get together again a couple months down the line to drink said brew (not that that's a bad thing )
