Default 2nd in local GABF Pro-Am Brew-Off

Sooo close... My IPA came in a very close second place in the Kentucky Ale (Lexington Brewing Company) 2010 GABF Pro-Am Brew-Off.

Got some really nice comments on the judges' sheets, though. Average score 44/50. "Classic example of the style." "Flawless."

Next year, I plan to win.

Congrats to the winner, Jeff Beagle, with his (tentatively named) Kentucky Coal Porter. Can't wait to try it.

Hey Rick500, They did name it officially "Kentucky Coal Porter". Had the first taste at the Homebrew meeting last night. Turned out pretty good, so good a keg found it's way into my fridge!!!!

Actually going to be nice the next couple years coming up, drinking beer and watching you guys go at it!!
