Default Website load time painfully slow

I didn't see a section for website technical issues so I thought this would work.

Is it just my internet connection or does this forum take forever to load, especially during peak hours?

I almost fell asleep waiting for the "post new thread" page to come up.

Turn the bandwidth dial to the right.

It's a consistent problem with me, and I know for a fact it isn't my connection. When I notice a slow-down, I usually have another tab open for my *other* vice: my Mustang. So I click on a link here, switch tabs to peruse my Mustang forum, then switch back when loaded. Doesn't fix the problem, but it helps.

The forum has been intermittently slow for me for the last few days, also. The site's administrator, TxBrew, knows about the problem now. Usually, for me at least, the forum is quite fast.

For issues like this, probably the best place to post this is in the HomeBrewTalk Announcements & Feedback forum, which is where I've moved this thread.
