Just changed my email to my yahoo account. Can anybody post on here to see if I get a notification?

Okay so why the hell am I getting notification on my yahoo account and NOT my other one?

No clue, but I think it has to be something on the HomeBrewTalk end of things. I'm a member of at least 8 other vBulletin forums and have no problem with subscribed thread notifications getting through to my email address, just this one...

I too am not receiving email notifications. I've had a personal domain (own several, acutally) fudaserve.net for about 6 years and have never had any issues getting emails from any other site. I wonder what's special about this site that som many folks have trouble. I have all black/gray listing options set to off from deep within my domain's controls (essentially, I'm my ISP so I can say what goes where, at least from an email perspective).

same for me. i have email sent to my address that is duplicated to my gmail account and FIOS/Verizon account and notifications from this forum are not coming through.

i changed my email to my gmail address and now the notices are coming through.
the problem is, i don't normally monitor that address.
the address i normally use is bkhb at sharpstick.org that goes through the hosting server at 1and1.com.
i went to the vbulletin forum, but they require you to be a paid client before you can post problems.
do any moderators monitor this forum? i sent a pm to the mod but haven't heard from him yet.

Use the forwarding feature in gmail to send to your desired account. You never have to go to the gmail account ever again.

None of the mods here have access to the server to fix this. It's my conjecture that, the way that this website and affiliate websites are set up on one box make this a problematic fix for the admin and perhaps not something that will be done in the immediate future.

thanks. i had just found that gmail forwarding function a few minutes ago and now my notifications are dropping nicely into my beer-wine folder. that solved my problem. the moderator also replied and informed me that the problem is with their SMTP (email sending) server, not the software.
so anyone else with this problem can do the same thing.
